Our Territory
A UNESCO Heritage Landscape
The Piedmontese hills of Monferrato were recognised as UNESCO World Heritage in 2014 — a landscape shaped over millennia by viticulture, gastronomy and a deep sense of belonging to the land.
It is here, in the heart of Alto Monferrato, that Valerio Volpe's family has practiced the art of artisan pastry since 1988. Every product we make carries this terroir: the hazelnuts from the Langhe, the almonds from Sicily, the butter from the Alps, the grains of the Po Valley.
Monferrato is not just our address — it is the DNA of everything we create.
The Soul of Our Pastry
Nocciola Piemonte IGP
The Piedmont Hazelnut IGP (Protected Geographical Indication) is the most prized in Italy and among the finest in the world. Grown in the Langhe hills at elevations between 200 and 700 metres, these hazelnuts develop an extraordinary balance of flavour — intense yet delicate, with a natural sweetness that sets them apart from all other varieties.
The IGP certification guarantees origin, quality and a fully traceable Italian supply chain. It is the non-negotiable heart of our Baci di Dama and Torta di Nocciola.
